Calm and quiet the mind, warming aromatic tea

T. lemmonii is used in cooking and also has beneficial effects for the garden.
Strongly passion fruit scented foliage with stunning gold daisy flowers covering whole plant in winter for aprox 2 months.
Oil is extracted by steam distillation for the flowering aerial parts. USES:
The oil has the ability to bring forth positive thoughts, reduce negativity and quiet the mind. Aztecs used the flowers to lower blood pressure and calm nerves. In China, the plant is used for coughs, colds, sores, and ulcers. Flowers and leaves are edible and can be used in salad. A tea infusion of leaves and flowers produces an aromatic body warming tea. ( warmth may last lasts 2-3hrs) A delightful breath freshener!

GROW:
Plant full sun to part shade. Can flower year round but mostly blooms in the colder months. Doesn't die off but bushes out and continues to bloom. Shade or cloudy days trigger the plant into flowering. Frost tolerant. Survives down to -7c but is still hot, dry and drought tolerant.
